Privacy policy

How Works Better collects, uses, stores and shares your personal information, and how to see it, correct it or have it deleted.

Who I am

Works Better is operated by Demartini Holdings Pty Ltd, ABN 77 683 549 046, in Canberra, Australia. Renzo Demartini handles all privacy questions personally. Email hello@worksbetter.ai.

What is collected

What you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the software you use and the task you want to stop doing by hand.

Sent with the form: the address of the page you sent it from, the page you first arrived on and the website that sent you there (if any), any campaign tags in those addresses (for example utm_source), and the HubSpot cookie ID that links your visit to your enquiry.

If you sign up on a free resource (such as the unbilled variations calculator): your email address, your first name if you give it, which resource you signed up on and when. The numbers you type into a calculator stay in your browser and are never sent.

Emails you send to hello@worksbetter.ai, and anything you share during an audit or a build.

Cookies:

  • Google Analytics 4: _ga and _ga_*, to count visits and see which pages people use.
  • HubSpot: hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc and __hssrc, to recognise a returning visitor and link visits to an enquiry, and __hs_cookie_cat_pref, to remember your cookie choice.
  • Cloudflare bot management: __cf_bm, set by Cloudflare on the domains HubSpot loads its scripts from, to tell people from automated traffic.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: when you use the enquiry form, Turnstile checks that it is not being sent by a bot. It may set or read cookies on challenges.cloudflare.com.

Depending on where you are, a HubSpot cookie banner may ask for your choice about these cookies. HubSpot remembers that choice in __hs_cookie_cat_pref.

Your browser also remembers, for 30 days, the first page you visited here and the site that sent you. It stays on your device and is only sent to me if you submit the enquiry form.

Please leave out passwords and confidential records. A few sentences about the step that is getting stuck are enough.

Why it is collected

  • To reply to your enquiry.
  • To prepare and deliver an audit, a quote or a build you ask for.
  • If you signed up on a free resource, to send you an occasional email. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask me to delete your details at any time.
  • To keep a record of what we discussed and agreed.
  • To understand, in total, how visitors find and use the site.

I do not add you to a mailing list unless you agree to it. I do not sell your information. No payment is taken through the form.

Who it is shared with

  • HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc.) stores enquiries and contact records and sends my emails.
  • Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) runs this site's network and server. The enquiry form passes through it, and this site's server writes your enquiry to HubSpot; Cloudflare keeps nothing you type. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form submission is not automated.
  • n8n is automation software I run on my own server in Canada (OVH). After your enquiry reaches HubSpot, n8n reads it, opens a record and asks Claude to draft a reply for me to check. It keeps a short log of each run for troubleshooting.
  • Google (Google LLC) provides Google Analytics.
  • Anthropic. To help me prepare a reply or an audit, the text of your enquiry is processed by Anthropic (Claude) through business API access, where your content is not used to train its models.
  • AI Labs. If you use AI Labs, the description you type and the sample data are sent through this site's server (hosted on Cloudflare) to Anthropic (Claude), which designs the workflow and runs its Claude steps. If Claude is unavailable, that AI Labs text (never an enquiry) may go instead to a free model reached through OpenRouter, whose providers may keep what they receive. This site does not keep what you type. A one-way code made from your connection's address is counted for up to a minute, only to limit how often AI Labs can be used. Please do not type personal or client details into it.

Each provider handles data under its own terms, for example HubSpot's privacy policy. I share nothing else unless the law requires it or you ask me to.

Where it is stored

Enquiries and contact records are stored in HubSpot's Australian data centre. Google, Cloudflare, Anthropic, OpenRouter (AI Labs only) and HubSpot's own support systems may process some data outside Australia, mainly in the United States; n8n runs on my server in Canada.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 24 months. Free-resource sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. Records for clients are kept for as long as Australian law requires.

See, correct or delete your information

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it or ask me to delete it. Email hello@worksbetter.ai. There is no charge, and I will respond within 30 days.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how your information is handled, contact me first at hello@worksbetter.ai. If it is not resolved, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or, in New Zealand, the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
